After studying  saxaphone, piano and banjo, Paul settled on the guitar as his main instrument.  The singer,  guitarist and songwriter began performing in a local pub within his first year of playing guitar. He soon realized that he wanted to learn more about fingerpicking and playing instrumental guitar, so he studied classical  guitar at the advice of a friend and musician. At Boston Conservatory of Music,  Paul   enjoyed private study of  classical music for guitar, such as the Villa Lobos and Segovia  etudes. and transcriptions of several other composers He also taught beginners how to enjoy popular songs for guitar. During a life experience in Quebec City,  he recorded a CD of his own songs entitled  Midnight Sun-Soleil  de Minuit.  He was able to experience the appeal of his music  while performing there.  Paul has just completed  Meant To Be,  his 2nd Album of  original tunes!     There is a variety of influences in Paul's music.  Along with the greats like Sinatra and Nat King Cole,   he  was drawn to the Latin sound of Jose Feliciano and also the Beatles.  He  traveled to Seville, Spain where he studied Flamenco guitar privately.  His  vision for his music is to keep growing, learning and creating.
The song   Meant To Be,  (above in the video) was written by Paul  and  Don Wilkins.
